Looking For a Rental?

RENTALS:  Worthit Realty, LLC, has a variety of rentals from which to choose located in the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, FL, area.  We offer multi-family duplexes, condominiums and single family homes for rent.   Rent varies according to the type of property, location and amenities.

APPLICATION:   To guarantee compliance with the Federal Housing Acts, a separate application is required for each applicant over the age of eighteen (18), excluding dependant children who will reside at the property. The application fee is $50 per person 18 years and older or $75 per married couple in order to verify credit and personal background information.  Application fees must be paid by money order, cashier’s check or cash and are not refundable.  Applicants will not be approved for specific properties on a first come-first serve basis.  An APPLICATION FORM is available for pickup during business hours at our office.  It can also be mailed, emailed, or faxed to you, but applications will not be processed without the appropriate application fee(s) paid by cashier’s check, money order or cash and required documentation.   If an applicant has issues which they are concerned may cause him/her to be denied, they may be considered prior to submitting an application and application fee(s).

DEPOSITS & ADVANCE RENT:  Approved applicants will be required to pay the first month’s rent and a security deposit for annual rentals.  The last month's rent might be required if there are credit issues or poor rental history.  A qualified co-signor will be considered, but must complete an application and be approved.  Short term rentals may require advance payment of the full amount of rent and a security deposit paid upon approval of an application.  Lee County requires a 5% Tourist Development Tax and Florida requires a 6% sales tax on rentals less than six (6) months.   If a short term rental reservation is cancelled, the deposit may be forfeited.

PETS:  Depending upon the type of rental, some pets will be considered but must be approved prior to occupying a property.  Renters with approved pets will be charged a non-refundable pet fee and/or pet rent.

PROPERTY RESERVATION:  Depending upon availability and type of property, an approved tenant may occupy a rental within days of submitting an application along with the appropriate application fee(s).  A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a property for a limited period of time but will be applied to the applicant’s security deposit upon the signing of a lease agreement.
